Only the following described materials may be accepted for dumping at the City compost site by residents of Conway Springs: Grass clippings, leaves, garden and yard waste.

Only the following described materials may be accepted for dumping at the City burn site: unpainted, untreated, nail free lumber, tree limbs, brush and stumps.

Any materials not described in Section 12-301 or 12-302 will not be accepted for dumping at the City compost or burn sites, specifically, household garbage, refuse, demolition waste, household hazardous wastes, asphalt shingles, tires, batteries, chemicals, petroleum products, plywood, chipboard and press board.

Any person, firm or corporation who dumps materials declared not acceptable by this Article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be sentenced to a fine of not more than $1,500.00.
